I am 70 yrars old and never in my lifetime has there been such stress put on race and ethnicity----it's pitiful!
The melting pot is long gone and it's a shame.
Like everyting else the govt gets into, civil rights has been turned into an unmitigated disaster. Everyone wants "equality", but few want everyone to be equal to them. Different ethnic groups want to form their own enclaves, and exclude any other group. Any form of standards must be adjusted based on ethnicity or just plain color.
The great diversity experiment that has been this country for some 60 years of Socialist rule(or since the civil war for some of us), is going to go the way of the Dodo.
Civil War II, the Balkanization of the US, tribal warfare, or whatever you want to call it is fast approaching.
We have gone so far down the road that I don't think that anything can stop it now.(sad)
