It's amazing- no matter how obscure the subject, there is always an expert present on Free Republic. The wealth of knowledge submitted here is mind-boggling.
And sometimes it's even correct. *\| =8^O
But really, with as many participants as FR has, from pretty much all walks of life, is it surprising? (I've even run into at least one other Scots Gaelic learner here -- and that is a small world indeed.)
