Fox News: NYC Protests got well UNDER 100,000 people!

A reporter at the UN just reported that the Manhattan protests got nowhere *near* the 100,000 they were predicting, big empty holes in the specified protest area, and sporadic arrests. It's already broken up because they never got to critical mass.

A total failure!

I just got back from wandering around the protesters. It was WAY under 100,000. Less than 50,000 for sure. maybe 10-20 grand.

My cable system doesn't carry FNC, so I've (cringe) been watching CNN off and on.

They've been reporting inflated numbers, with the London correspondent (a combo John Cleese/Matthew Lesko) reporting "500,000, one million, possibly two million protestors."

Blecch. I think not.

I figured the numbers were lower than expected because I couldn't find any articles about the US protests. Everything was about the big crowds in Europe.

The news media is trying like hell to play up the peace protests. To hear them talk about it, there's several million people in the street. That's total wack. The protesters represent less than 1/100th of a percent of the public but they're getting 90% of the publicity. Too bad for the alphabet networks, legitimate Americans are not buying their Marxist/leftist crap.

Yeah. Liz Trotta wiped the floor with Hat Chick. All the Chick could do was spew anger. And did you notice that Hat Chick was at the UN, at the center of the protest, and there wasn't a single other person around?

All over the US, the numbers are low, mainly because most of us want Saddam gone.

In London, Berlin, Rome, etc.., the turnout is high, not because they don't want war but because they hate the U.S.

At the Texas Motor Speedway, we can get 250,000 people to show up for a whole weekend - and they have to pay US $50.00 or more a piece just to get in the door! On the other hand, free drugs, celebrity sightings and paid trips couldn't get the required number of thugs to come out for this little trashy world-wide soiree.

They do seem to be getting some pretty sizable numbers in Europe, but hell, that's Europe. They never protested Serbia or Somalia, or gave a damn about Rwandan genocide, so we know they're just out because they're jealous America-haters. And partiers.

Foxnews reported it as "not a pro-Iraq, but an anti-Bush rally."

Reporters let their emotions rule these days. I'm sure he was being quite nostalgic of the 60s.

Anti-American crowds are ALWAYS over-estimated by the news media. In this case, they were probably held down further by the cold weather, which as any long-haired, maggot-infested, dope-smoking, commie-loving Friend-of-The-Planet knows, is directly the result of Global Warming. In any event, they certainly didn't fail to show up because of a need to go to their JOBS. Just a hunch.
