The World Says No to War! Mass Actions in New York City on Feb. 15 and San Francisco on Feb. 16 United for Peace and Justice has a permit to hold a February 15 rally on First Avenue stretching north from 51st Street. This rally will be massive, powerful, peaceful, legal, and safe. But to our great shock and outrage, Federal Judge Barbara Jones ruled on February 10 that the City of New York can deny United for Peace and Justice a permit to march anywhere in Manhattan on February 15. We are appalled by this attack on our basic First Amendment rights, and we are asking all of our supporters to protest vigorously against this attempt to stifle the growing opposition to Bush's war. Most of all, we encourage you to keep organizing and mobilizing for February 15: People in 603 cities throughout the globe are organizing protests this weekend against the Iraq war (including San Francisco): Let's make New York City's protest the biggest, most passionate anti-war gathering of them all. GET MUCH MORE INFORMATION ON FEB. 15. More »

When we kick over the rocks in Iraq and the vileness of that regime is fully exposed to the light of day, I hope that some of the more idealistic college kids suckered into these peace rallies will get a sobering dose of the real world and come to their senses.

If the mounds of skulls in Cambodia didn't do the trick for most of their parents generation, why would another genocidial regime make any more of an impression?

I wonder if the leaders of the Communist organizations have second thoughts about supporting Islamic terrorism. If the U.S. and the free world were brought down, the Communists might themselves be subjected to radical Islamics. ANSWER and its supporting commie organizations must be betting that they will be able to wrest control before radical Islam consolidates control.

Lefty control of the media and education bears fruit. We must vigorously renew the cultural war on these fronts! Support of David Horowitz is a worthwhile starting point.
