I have said that too for months and years to get out of the UN. Some strange reason the President thinks we need them. To hell with the UN they are all anti-Americans and a communist org!

While I wholeheartedly echo your sentiments, I wonder if the President is following the old adage "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

When you think about it, it's kind of nice to have all the socialist and communist mouthpieces conveniently located all in one spot. At least we can see what they are up to.

Pity it couldn't be located in Paris, though.

Stop and think. HOW, if we get out of the United Nations, could we use our veto to stop a move to change the U.N. Charter to allow a person from a permanent member country to become Sec. of the U.N.? You don't want Clinton? Then you have to remain in a position to stop his ascension.

As I wrote on another thread, better to be at the table by invitation, than try to find out what is going on by having to infiltrate an enemy camp.

This is one of the only reasons I can see to remain in the U.N.
