Can Tony ACT without a UN resolution, or is it political suicide for him?
I don't think we will be getting one anytime soon.
France thinks they can back him down, because of the political price he will pay if he doesn't do THEIR bidding relative to Sadaamned...

Can Tony ACT without a UN resolution, or is it political suicide for him? He can, but it would be best if the war was over quickly. The Tories will back him up.

"France thinks they can back him down..."The France is evens stupider than I thought. George Bush himself couldn't back Blair down on Iraq. The man is actually willing to be voted out of office over this. His committment to bringing Saddam down is absolute and non-negotiable. Anybody who can't see this is blind. The man has already burnt quite a few bridges with his own Labour party.
