Small pox vaccine is not even real small pox. It's a virus similar enough to where your body reacts to it and builds a defense against the similar small pox at the same time. I'm no MD, but it is possible to be vaccinated against a certain disease and build a resistance against a whole strain since they all have something in common which the vaccine targeted.

Hmmm, don't know if that is true or not when it comes to weaponizing.
But I like the way that sounds. So I'm just going to take that answer as fact if you don't mind. It is a little more comforting than 'unknown' threats.
