That's affirmative Gene. Pat will probably be with me also.

Peter is doing fine. He freep mailed me a couple weeks ago. He's in the Lurking mode presently. I'll fill you in on Saturday.

BTW, has a specific location been designated for our pre-rally FReeper muster?

Hi Betty!

thanks for the ping....I'll try to make it (we've been battling the fascists on our local streetcorner weekly)

Should I take the BeeLine or 1-4?

BTTT!! Test worked!

We have a new Florida FReeper who plans to be there by the name of "imhere". He just moved to Orlando from Illinois and is anxious to meet everyone. He wanted to make it to gonzo's New Years Eve party but didn't get back from up north in time.

Take I-4 to HWY 50(Colonial Drive).
If you choose to park at the TD Waterhouse Arena, transportation will be provided to take you to Lake Eola.

Stay safe, drive safe.

Today's the day! Channel 9 in Orlando mentioned the rally yesterday during their 5:30 news show - allong with some Iraqi supporters that I was telling you about. When they were out on the street there couldn't be more than 10 of them! The silent majority goes to the streets in downtown Orlando today for America and to the end of a tyrant in Iraq.

A crowd of over 2,000 was on hand with many members of the media present, so watch the news...I believe I say Ch. 9, Ch. 6, and Ch. 2 there (local stations). The parks guy said something like when the "anti-war" protesters were there, the most people they got was like 150 if that.

Very awesome speeches to say the least (I can't put into words the emotions and values of what was said by the retired armed forces members) and songs were great as well. I really liked it when they had the kids and lads with large flags during one song...a brilliant idea.

Good to meet some of the FREEpers out there. I didn't meet many, but maybe next time. I took some pics, if they come out any good when they get developed, then I'll post them here.
