President's Weekly Radio Address.

Morning, votelife! FoxNews is running excerpts from the President's address on their scrolling news banner today, followed by "AP: Democrats say that (Miguel) is not qualified, and that he has failed to answer questions (closely paraphrasing)."

I called AP Miami, told them that they needed to print a correction...that the Democrats lied to them. (^:

Candlelight Vigil in Support of Miguel, San Francisco, Mon. Feb. 24. Major media will be there. Thanks, nick!

Orrin Hatch promised he would see Estrada to confirmation and so will WE! With all on his plate, our President is still fighting hard for WHO/WHAT is right! Will be calling tomorrow on Estrada!

In conjunction with the candlelight vigil for Estrada in San Fran, today's FREEP is for Barbara Boxer (and Feinstein if you wish)

Sen Barbara Boxer

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) 202-224-3553

I heard she turned her phone OFF! So we may have to stick to email!

contacted Frist, Delay, Bob Graham, and Congresswoman Ros-Lehtin today.

Ros-Lehtin held a press conference the other day with 2 other S. Florida Hispanic Reps (the Diaz Balart bros.) on the Estrada issue. Told her to keep it up!

Bob Graham is "taking a tally"

Delay says contact your Sens, Congressman...asked for more, he says Sen leadership

Keep up the pressure everyone

This link shows the election results from 98 in the Senate. Harry Reid won by less than 500 votes!

as another freeper noted,

If the polling is bad, and I believe that it is, we need to pressure any of the following to publicly break ranks:

Carper
Hollings
Feingold
Bingaman
Nelson of FL
Blanche Lincoln
Pryor
Wyden
Bayh

etc
etc

Thanks for this back info on all of the Senators up for re-election. I did know about Harry Reid and am anxious to target him HARD in '04 for this very reason. I printed this list and will pass it along with our other targeted D's. Can't have enough info so you're believable when speaking and soliciting support around the country.

This is from a Miami Herald writer in The Mercury News?:

"Nelson met with Estrada on Feb. 10, decided not to support a filibuster and is ''leaning toward'' voting for the nominee, said spokesman Dan McLaughlin."

http://www.bayarea.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/5258880.htm

PS. Bill Nelson seems a little slow to answer his phone today!
