February 21, 2003 -- For years, University of South Florida academic Sami Al-Arian has claimed to be the victim of a political witch hunt - that he has been falsely linked to Islamic terrorism merely because of his pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel views.

Maybe the US will get serious now and cut the fundraiser legs from under the IRA and the Palestinian terrorists ... funds collected regularly in the US of A! It wouldn't take much effort to find them, I'm sure Mossad would provide a long list for our Justice Department to consult, if we got really serious about it.

Very truly, alas. Actually, a lot of liberal everything were his defenders at FSU - but since the entire liberal academic establishment, here and in Britain, seems to be making no secret of its anti-Semitism nowadays, that's not surprising. It's very sad that Jews themselves should be among them, though.
