Sounds to me like Joseph Farah doesn't understand the Arab mind. I believe (based on the ones I have dealt with)Arab men would regard tolerance, open mindedness, and being non-judgemental as cowardly, undesirable character traits. They salivate at the opportunity to take advantage of anyone who exibits these characteristics. Part of the reason for the conflict we are in is because Arabs see Americans as brainless Dudley-Do-Right types and Americans insist on treating Arab criminals like they were Americans. There seems to be a nearly complete failure to understand the HUGE difference in the way Arabs think vs. the way Americans think.

Now, I am an Arab-American. I have an Arab face and an Arab name. But I didn't get a second look. Meanwhile, I saw young mothers with little babies struggling to make it through extra security. I saw little old grandmothers facing the indignities of extra checks.

Homeland Security at its best! Looking in all the wrong places.
