The Chinese can only tap into cables if they own them. Everybody knows that. Now you tell one.

And the Chinese have no ability to intercept radio signals. Everyone knows that. Back to you.

I am not a military expert by any stretch, and don't claim to be one, but I have heard that China has this capability.

They have their version of the "EP3" albeit not nearly as sophisticated and they fly around Southern China, Vietnam, etc collecting signals.

About how well they can decode things, who knows.

If I am not mistaken the Chinese were going to buy out a listening station in Cuba (from the Russians) also.
