What is this "infinite job pool" fallacy.? Prove IT!
You can't.

There will be riots in the streets in 4 years.
Those socialist parasites currently marching throuh
the streets and that expect the gubment to
keep'em on the dole for years will get mean when they
find out we're done paying them.

San Fran Bay alone has 65,000 software developers out of work.
Software development jobs are running by the thousands
to India, et al where they work for rice.
The efficiencies here are keeping down remaining job slots.
What are they going to do? Deliver pizza.
Who's gonna buy the pizza?

The Chinese are very patient and very smart.
They will sell us the rope with which we will hang ourselves.

Re: computer forensics. Since a fair amount of traffic these days goes over microwave links, I guess you're arguing that we have to unplug ALL government computer networks because they are vulnerable to interception.

Re: jobs. Your rant has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Operating and maintaining a telecom infrastructure is NOT the same as writing code.

As for the whining about jobs getting outsourced: software has become a commodity. If America insists on punishing, via obscene taxation and regulation, those people and companies that actually hire people for any purpose (be it turning wrenches on an asembly line or writing code), the jobs are going to go offshore. It's really that simple.
