Sorry but I chose to believe our elected officials who are in the know...

oops chose equals choose

Aren't you ignoring the fact that Limbaugh is apparently of the same opinion?
To: aristeides
Um actually he isn't if you read the entire article... and the other thread that started this whole thingy...
To: marajade
Who is out besides McConnell?

Limbaugh is not in agreement with his own article, which I believe is still posted on his site?
To: deport
The senator from KY's wife is still critically ill I believe...
To: aristeides
Yes he is... read the other thread... Rush was on a rant... Senators Hatch and Santorum called his show and corrected him... Rush later admitted he was relieved..
See how posting misinformation can cause divisions and misunderstandings? How can that be good for FR?
To: marajade
Well he voted in the quorum calls the other night. I've also heard but can't confirm that McConnell is available for votes if need be. But that may well be erroneous as he didn't vote in the quorum calls.

Yes the senator from KY was... but I believe I heard somewhere or read here on FR that he needed to be with his wife this weekend and that was why they didn't proceed with the filibuster...
To: xsmommy
No, the senator from KY...
To: marajade
the other senator from KY
To: aristeides
He is in agreement, since he wrote it after the calls from Hatch and Ricks office. And its just what he said..
Wait till he tells more to those millions of listeners to the Rush Limbaugh Show this week. As Rush said its more important than the antiwar movement.

Its not what Rush wrote which is misleading...
AGAIN, it is what you put in ( ) that is... Get it?

Do you think Limbaugh is wrong not to have pulled his piece from his site?
I really don't see how further information harms anybody. What I don't want to see is lockstep conformity.
Personally, unlike Limbaugh and TLBSHOW, I want to see a cloture vote, as soon as possible. I don't understand the arguments against it. I would appreciate it if somebody could explain what the harm is of a cloture vote. I have asked repeatedly for that explanation.
But the fact that I disagree with Limbaugh and TLBSHOW on this doesn't mean I don't want them to express their views. Quite the contrary. Out of a discussion hopefully will emerge the truth. If we shut down discussion, that truth is very unlikely to emerge.

Thanks...
To: aristeides
I take issue with what Tlbshow has put in ( ) on this thread...
Rush also went on his rant to launch a real filibuster when the Rep couldn't because they couldn't get to 51 which is need to keep the senate in open session...
