That is interesting. When Donahue was fired effective immediately, MSNBC reran that particular show either that very night or the next night. I had not seen the first airing but did see most of the second showing, and I knew Donahue had already been fired when I watched it.
They must have received a huge response to show it again on the heels of the dismissal. It seems at first blush to be surprising that it wouldn't therefore be on their website, but on further reflection the website isn't the ratings problem! LOL
Technically, MSNBC is only supposed to make their transcripts available for a week after broadcast; we had the same deal with FDCH when I was at ABCNEWS until ABC became so cheap they stopped offering transcripts even for a day. But it seems that whoever is responsible for formatting and posting MSNBC transcripts is so lazy that it only gets done every once in a while, and always with certain buttons and links missing.
Anyway, I've found that if you email or call them about a missing transcript (call Redmond, not Secaucus), they'll either email or call you back with the URL.
