I, to this day, have not forgiven Rita Cosby. I think my heart, literally, stopped.

I am still recuperating from the trauma I suffered from that night. Luckily I am a channel surfer by nature and went immediately to MSNBC of all things and got set straight.

I grabbed the opinion online, as Dan Abrams was reading it, and saw right away waht was going on. It pays to go to the source, and not trust any media spin on important subjects. I had to laugh at Rita. Helped a few folks in chat rooms avoid coronary attacks (I think).

I also switched from Rita to MSNBC that night, where thankfully Abrams & Williams figured it out quickly & correctly...later I remember the look on poor Rita's face as someone else spelled out the meaning of the decision and it became clear her initial interpretation was wrong. In a way I felt bad for her -- she's done a good job in a lot of cases -- but it did take me a while to get over the heart attack she gave me, LOL. Wish I'd been on Free Republic then! I started "lurking" shortly after that.

I would have switched but I had worn out my remote by that time. Besides.....I was receiving CPR at the moment! (wink)
