It's a safe bet that Mel's conservative. Though he's certainly not outspoken and has dual-citizenship between Australia and America(being that he was actually born here). He's the best actor anywhere today. It remains to be seen who has the guts to come out and declare themselves Republican/conservative in Hollyweird. It's the new blacklist, quite frankly. But certain stars have already established themselves. The best actors of all-time were Republican or conservative: Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, James Cagney, Cary Grant, Gary Cooper...That was a Hollywood that actually believed and respected their country. It's quite different with today's ungrateful Hollyweird garbage.

Has Jane Russell been mentioned? A fine article about her not too long ago here on FR! She spoke her mind at the CPAC Convention!

She referred to the old-school Republican movie stars you mentioned.
