"If bin Laden is in a city, he probably doesn't have his long beard or wear flowing gowns, but looks like a businessman and his bodyguards look like his friends or coworkers," Katz said."

I can't help myself --- I am laughing out loud. What do friends and co-workers of a dead guy look like? Are they dead too or do they just prop up UBL and stick his body in a chair?

Seriously, UBL dead or alive is hateful. His message of hate and his spirit of hate lives on --- pure evil.

Sadly, you're probably right. In a week's time, we should know. (if they announce we've caught even just 10 new terrorists by the end of the week, I'll believe this story)

"But U.S. officials said efforts to quickly exploit the new information may have been partially compromised by Pakistan's premature disclosure of Mohammed's arrest on Saturday."

Premature disclosure shouldn't be made again by Pakistan, under threat of grave consequences.

Too much is at stake, to play games with these people.

What's up with that? Were they giving a warning to OBL and his pals?

"When you catch a guy of his stature in the organization, there are a lot of leads generated from that," said New York homeland security chief Jim Kallstrom.

In other words, they got nothing.

The U.S. probably would have liked to have kept this quiet but someone in Pakistan released the information either (a) because they were excited by the capture and wanted to let everyone know or (b) they leaked it because they knew it was the fastest way to warn everyone connected to him to get out of town, that they had been compromised,

I suspect the later, that someone in the government sympathetic to AQ leaked the information.

There were reports yesterday (Mansoor Ijaz on FNC, IIRC) that they got another 7 from leads generated from the capture of KSM & the other 2. No details that I recall or what country.

Nothing probable about it. I'm pretty sure I remember some OBL quotes with direct references to Spain in that era.
