""There is always an end to human endurance," Pakistani Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat said."

This has to be the most classic quotation since the one about "rounding up the usual suspects" in the movie "Casablanca"....

He knows what *he* would do had he two of our leaders' children. Sometimes one's own imagination is the worst.

How true. And they do think quite differently than we do...

It also emerged that Khalid, who was Osama bin Laden's third-in-command, could be the subject of a show trial in the US next year – coinciding with the start of the presidential campaign.

What a delusional pantload of a "journalist" this guy is - this paper has to be the Aussie equivalent of the New York Times to print something like this.

There is no way in Hell that KSM stands any kind of civil trial in the US - there's just too many left-wing Johnny Cochran-type activist lawyers who would be lining up to represent him (not to mention Ramsey Clark), too much of a chance that he would end up in front of an OJ jury, too many Susan Sarandons and Martin Sheens who would be leading protests outside of the courthouse with their "Jail Bush; Free KSM!" signs. No, I think George Bush and John Ashcroft are smart enough to realize that if there was ever a suspect for whom a military tribunal was meant, this guy is the one.

So dream on, you limp-wristed little Aussie poofter, and go back to fantasizing about how you would pay homage to Bill Clinton if only he would drop his pants for you.

"There is always an end to human endurance,"

Especially when your lifestyle has been one of a pampered life of debauchery. IF this ugly, hairy beast IS cracking, it's only because the Peter Principle is alive and well.

As a wise FReeper said the other day, he'll crack, he's in management.

I think it says alot about the kind of "terrorist" K is simply by the fact that he allowed himself to get captured, rather than commit suicide. He doesn't mind offing others, but I'm guessing he's quite a wimp when it comes to his own life.
