I agree we can wipe out NK. And I agree ignoring them right now is the best thing to do.

The cynical but real calculus is what you said -- they can't hurt anybody but the SKs and Japanese. Ignoring and not giving them aid will hasten their collapse, but will their collapse include flinging every shell, nuke, body they have at the outside world?

I don't know what to do to convince the SKs and the Chinese that they need to help out here. The Japanese, at least, seem to be taking this seriously....

F

PS -- NK *SELLING* nukes is very significant.

A plane was buzzed? Mercy me, dear, planes are buzzed alot and how does that hit you as worse than Hussein treking bio weapons all over iraq, gassing the kurds, making fools of the UN, having missles loaded and ready to hit his neighbors, setting Kuwait's oil on fire. If buzzing a plane gets you ready to focus on NK,,by all means do it.

Word on the street there is that Iraq has been behind every terrorist attack against the U.S. going back to the first WTC bombing in 1993.

If that's true, it would definitely explain why Bush is so focused on Saddam, but doesn't show the same degree of concern about N Korea. Maybe they really DO know stuff they're not telling us - - -but I for one would like to be told, because this monomania about Saddam doesn't make sense to me as it is.

When she was made the mold was broken, burned, buried, and prayed over.

But she was still able to crawl out of the broken, burned, buried, prayed-over mold...

Are you sure it wasn't an inflatable Helen Thomas? I can't remember what company makes them but on the order form was the following;

We accept cash, major credit cards, or money orders only. No personal checks accepted on this model. Would you accept a check from someone perverse enought to want an inflatable Helen Thomas?

And it hasn't been explained to me why warring on Saddam is absolutely necessary for our security.

Maybe you'll get it when the damn nuke drops on your dumb head.

We seem to bully weak nations that have little bearing on our security, yet ignore stronger nations that actually pose a threat to us.

Try this on for size: "We seem to bully nations that pose a threat, regardless of size, while we ignore those that are insignificant but yet resort to saber rattling to draw attention to themselves." N. Korea bluffed: You fell for it.

There are too many countries, like N Korea, whose people are suffering. We can't help all of them. You see, we're quite alone in this. We'll just deal with the ones that threaten us, one at a time. N Korea's turn will come quite soon and you need to be patient.

I am very proud of my President. With him or against him, folks know what he believes, how he reached his conclusion, and what he will do to protect American's national interests.

He said nothing to the radical left. They were not his audience.

He said nothing to the UN Security Council. They were not his audience.

He said nothing to the leaders in Germany, France, or Belgium. They were not his audience.

He said nothing to Tom Daschle. He was not his audience.

He said nothing to Saddam. He was not his audience.

What he said was a sincere and logical explaination why disarming Iraq improves the security of freedom-loving families around the world, for they were his audience.

You may be tired of W saying the same things over and over again. You must remember that most of our population doesn't have a clue. If they watch tonight it will be their first time of paying attention.

My sister thinks that W is a war monger. Why? She doesn't have cable. She has only the three networks. She, unfortunately, doesn't have a clue.

The U.S. can't go into any details here for two reasons:

1. It will expose the utter incompetence of the Clinton administration for their handling of every terrorist attack against the U.S., starting with the first WTC bombing in 1993.

2. The "first" Persian Gulf War was a sham from the get-go. It was nothing more than the first step in a well-planned process to wean Europe off the oil from radical Islamic states in the Middle East.
