I'm sorry but I don't understand the purpose of this conference. He just keeps saying the same things in every answer. America is looking for something to inspire them to back Pres. Bush but he just keeps spouting rehearsed rhetoric.

Why should his message change? Especially in dealing with so many different entities. It's great that he is the consistent voice when everyone else want to go their way.

Well, I think most people have made up their minds by now. Either you support him or you don't. He's just saying be prepared.

What is it you don't know, that you need to know, and that will convince you otherwise? Curious

It's called the broken record response - very effective.
This may not seem like much, but it is the simple chess move necessary before mate.
He's done the "Waiting is over" speech now. The next voice you hear will be from the oval office. On a 335 step process to giving the "go," this little press conference is step 334.

Jesus Christ, enough with the Bush-bashing already, people! If I wanted to read a bunch of whiny "we're all doomed" rhetoric, I'd be following the DU thread, not the FR thread. It's a PRESS CONFERENCE. Nothing more.
