That's a nice one (lose the feather though).
I have some center dents in my collection but the crowns aren't as high as I'd like. The one in "Last Man Standing" had a nice high crown, which was the style until the '40s.
Most of my collection is from the fifties and the ones with a nice high crown have teardrop crowns like this:
My prize is a platinum grey Stetson Royal that was made in 1957. I've got a grey-brown Champ Featherweight from 1956 that looks like it could have come from Robert Mitchum's closet.
I'd love to get my hands on the one that Bruce wore in that film.

Of course the left hates that Willis is the spokesman for Foster Care. They would rather that all those children had been aborted.

LG,
I would have to suggest
as the best Japanese action film of all time.

...as the best Japanese action film of all time. I second that. Just make sure you get the Criterion DVD - it has a great translation and an excellent voiceover.

A good friend of mine was an extra in "Dr. T and The Women". She was in the background during the scene where Farrah disrobed in the fountain. Despite the novelty of my friend's brief appearance, the movie was so bad that even she couldn't recommend it.

Don't think that your $8 won't make a difference- it will!! What makes a bigger difference -- going to see the movie, or buying the DVD?? Just wondering. Two movie tickets, cokes, and popcorn, and you've already spent enough to buy the DVD.
I did not get the opportunity to see "We Were Soldiers" at the theater, so when it came out on DVD I intended to rent it. But when the Oscars snubbed the film, I just decided to go ahead and buy it instead. My way of supporting the good guys and thumbing my nose at the liberal weenies.

There was a thread on Bruce Willis' generosity with the Girl Scout Cookies about three months ago.
I'll look for the thread.

Bruce has definately come a long way. I think part of the charm is that he's learned when to keep the wisecracks internal, and just portray people who really SHOULD be saying something funny to lighten the mood, but can't for fear of the consequences. It starts being evident in Pulp Fiction, but you can see it more in 6th Sense and Unbreakable.
I can't believe more people didn't like Unbreakable. The Home Invasion scene freaked me out worse than the whole of Hannibal. It WAS a good movie - I think the problem is that it just didn't meet audience expectations, and that's why it didn't play as well.
