I agree, 100%. Such is what leaders do.

I would point out, though, that if Bush fails to win reelection, a certain party known for the abnormally high ratio of appeasers and foreign/military affairs ostriches within its ranks will come to power, probably leading to a very real disaster down the pike. Thus, it is important for Bush to win in '04.
