Thanks Albertabound from a B.C.'er. Your right, we DON'T feel this sentiment toward the United States here at all. This is confined to the belly of the beast Ottawa and Montreal and frankly all of Quebec. Toronto is a cesspool of immigrants and Montreal has the largest mid-eastern population in North America. These are the voters that keep putting these pukes in office. It's way past time for Western Separation. I have had it!! If you wanna talk hate, I HATE CAROLYN PARRISH. She is pond scum along with the rest of her Liberal trash.

It's nice to hear from "northern Yanks". :-) Sometimes we get a distorted view of how most of Canada feels.

My dearest friend lives in Canada - she is embarrassed by her government, and she *hearts* Dubya. I think she's living in the wrong country. :-)

Well put...but perhaps you were too kind to Ms. Parrish.

The Liberals have come 'out of the closet' big time. Every inflammatory insult hurled at the US, is increasingly raising the 'ante'. We've got Chretien behaving like a 3RD World 'leader', cashing 'in' with anti-American rhetoric as the citizenry ignores his failings. Its a cheap act that is enabled by our insane immigration policy, and a growing legion of bought voter's.

The soon to crumble UN will put Chretien on the 'wrong-side'.....let's see how that looks on him.

Speaking as a "Canuck-American" (my mother was born in Sorel, PQ), I've always been very proud of my close association to Canada.

I will always be grateful to the brave Canadians who have stood by us during our worst times - one of those was during the Iran Hostage Crisis when the Canadian Embassy sheltered American diplomats from the mobs, at great risk to themselves.

Our good neighbor to the North is suffering the same misfortune as we are here in the States: not paying close enough attention, which allowed the leftists to take over our institutions and our government.

I am not going to allow the stupid remarks of a few stupid politicians to change my opinion of the good people of Canada.

Spent a bit of time in BC. Havn't met any America haters or liberals there.

Saw kids riding bikes with rifles slung over their shoulders. I thought it was a good thing, even before someone told me about the bears. Then I thought it was a better thing.
