I got my first career job in 1972, when flights from LA to San Fran on PSA were $16 each way, on the hour, no advance purchase, and the stewardesses (no flight attendants in those days) fit your description--all young and pretty. While that couldn't last what with the courts recognizing the existence of the Constitution (equal rights and all) it was fun for a young man at the time.
