[history]
HEAVILY armed al Qaeda thugs practiced storming a school, shooting children and taking hostages in a videotaped training exercise, The Post has learned.
The terror rehearsal took place under the mandate of al Qaeda's operations chief, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks.

This film needs to be shown to the bleeding hearts concerned about our interrogation methods for this swine. Torture it out of him!

But already posted by someone over here. Yes, but I did not see it when posted over there - I am seeing it here. This is worth more than one posting.

This film needs to be shown to the bleeding hearts concerned about our interrogation methods... Don't bother. It could actually happen on American soil to American kids and the Lefties would proclaim we had caused it to happen.

What'd you expect from the Blame America First crowd ?

Oh, I'm not complaining - just informing.

I woulnd't worry about an attack like this. Terrorists may well pull this off, only to find that the students are better-armed than they are.

Me either. That is one of my problems with FR is that when I check in for latest news, if it has already fallen off the screen and is not in the margin topics, I won't know that there was a thread and therefore don't ever see it.

That and the Search Engine doesn't work worth beans!
Can't search for keywords in text! And most of the time the key words aren't in the title, and posters don't use the difficult "go down the list and check" topic selector.

If you don't know an article was written, you can't use key words to find it. I use FR for my breaking news and so would not know of an article until I saw it.

If you don't know an article was written, you can't use key words to find it. Sure you do. That's why they wand the TITLES to remain EXACT.

I agree with you. I have noticed that some Freepers get very upset with double threads. Personally, who cares and whats the big deal. Thanks for posting this.

1) The deal is that multiple threads on the same article take wsastes bandwidth.
2) We were asked NOT to do it.
3) When multiple threads abound on the same article, if you forget to bookmark the thread you were in, and do a search, only to find 5 threads, you have to go through them to find THE thread in which you may have made posts.
Doing a prior search isn't that difficult.

To explain better - if I am just looking at FR to get the news, I look at the sidebar titles, I look at the current listings and that is it. I am not trying to post an article I am reading the news. Now say there was an article "North Korea Backs Down" that had been posted early that morning. Say at 12:00 I come in and look at sidebar, look at current articles and I see the articles that are there. I won't see the North Korea article. Yet is someone happens to duplicate post and it appears when I am reading - I will then see it.
I did not know there was such an article until I see it in current listings or sidebar. How am I to think to search for keywords of an article I know nothing about - I am just reading - not trying to post the article. Think you are assuming I am trying to post an article. Of course, I can check keywords when posting because I have the new article in hand.
But, for readers of news items, they will not see an article that does not appear on the sidebar or in current listings. Might be nice to have a link to a running index of daily articles posted so that news readers can flip over and see if anything of interest.
