"Peace" Protesters Attack Navy Man
By Donald Sensing
DonaldSensing.com | March 12, 2003

My Name is Josh, and I am a Second Class Petty Officer in the Navy.

While out on my off day, sporting my Navy T-shirt and ballcap, I decided to go downtown to get some food and take a walk at the Riverwalk here in San Antonio, while there, a "Peace" protest started, I sat back on a bench and listend to their rally, and after a bit decided I'd had enough and to leave. Standing up, and turning around to leave out from the rear of the crowd, I was soon noticed, and began to be harrassed. Lucky for me, two police officers on duty (who evidently happened to both be ex-military) helped me get out of the crowd.

On some of the banners I noticed NCC [National Council of Churches - DS], and saw a few people from ministry there. From these same people, minus the ministers, I was called vile names, and according to them I have killed little children and babies.

How long before the religious Left wants to kill a sailor for Christ, or Allah?

The truth is they don't care about peace, they hate America and scorn the military that protects them and their stupid views.

If this crappolla continues, we'll be revisiting our own "civil war" again!

The organizers behind these protests are not going to be satisfied until they start collecting martyrs.

Hey, they pulled this same garbage, and worse, during the Nam years. Why is anyone surprised by this ?

Time to roll up our collective sleeves again ( or, for the first time ) and not allow them to get away with this.

The Nation Council of Churches is the same organization that posted the "What Would Jesus Drive?" anti-SUV article on its website. One of their ministers, a former congressman Edgar or Egger was on the Michael Medved Show a couple of months ago talking about a letter of protest against the war the NCC had written to President Bush; he also claimed to have been against the military air strikes x42 ordered on Iraq back in 1998, but of course like in Hollywood, there were no visible protests agaist THAT.

...'Nuff said.

Yes, they did pull some of the same stuff during the Vietnam protests, but I don't remember the protesters being so rabidly anti-American.

Saw a pick-up truck in Palo Alto today. It had so many bumper stickers on it, you couldn't tell what color it even was. A lot of them said (expletive) Bush. I was walking to the CalTrain station, and saw a guy looking at the truck, and I said, "I wish the owner would tell us how they really feel!" LOL!

They were at least as horrid, back then, as they are today. Heck, they're just getting started, today; yet again. I was in the trenches, back then ( FREEPmail me, if you want more personal info ) and I haven't forgotten. The Commie lead escalation, hasn't even hit the plateau, of 1966 yet.

What a nasty piece of work, the owner of that truck is. YUCK ! :-(

...."I don't remember the protesters being so rabidly anti-American."

Sometimes I say this in jest, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm on to something serious. Star Trek- the '60's-United Nations-United Federation of Planets (the UFP logo is an extension of the UN logo)....

Think of all this insane One World stuff. Is there a connection?
