Sorry about the "Einstein" comment. I'm just asking people to think this through a bit without just swallowing the party line. You seem like an open-minded person, though.

OK...checking back on the thread now, and really nothing to add, since others have made the points I would have, and I intensely dislike seeing the same arguments over and over in a thread.

Keep in mind that I, for one, amd deeply disturbed over the probable conflict in Iraq. I am deeply concerned whenever this country sends its citizens off to fight and die. I am deeply disturbed whenever this country and our President is assaulted by (seemingly) world opinion.

In this case, however, I firmly believe that the cause is necessary, and our President, and our nation must "bite the bullet" and stand up for what is right...right for our country and right for the world.

This is not a blind decision..I do not jump on bandwagons. Its not what I would have wanted to seen done...but it is what MUST be done.
