For some reason my clipboard is changeing " into two small slashes //

Any suggestions so I can mass copy and paste and not have to change the // back to " ?

Your word processing program is using typographical "curly" quote marks rather than typewriter-like straight quote marks. HTML requires straight quotes.

Instead of laboring under the hood of your word processor, it may be better to compose HTML with a simpler tool, like Notepad.
