A militant gay-rights group that failed to stop Michael Savage's TV debut last weekend angrily stepped up its attack yesterday - rejecting peace talks with NBC and escalating attempts to scare his advertisers away.

"Write it up - it'll help my lawyer," a furious Savage told The Post, promising a legal fight to the finish with the adversaries he has called "Nazi bastards from hell."

We have a group of people here who are abnormal to the point of mental illness. Though we all end up having to pay for their perversions (compare how much tax money goes into AIDS as opposed to heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer, etc.), we must never allow them to decide for us what we can see or hear. They are just about able to do so or have been already (Dr. Laura).

I do not believe that anyone should try to keep them from their sodomy and other high-risk perversions in their own bedrooms even if we all have to bear the health costs. But just because they demand AIDS money, so threateningly, is no reason for the government to short-change the diseases the rest of us face during our lives. I'm inclined to think we might focus a boycott on P&G despite the fact that most of their customers are women, which may make it harder. We all use their products and equivalent alternatives readily are available on the markets, e.g. from Colgate-Parmolive. If we can hurt this colossus by a long-spreading boycott, the other heterophope corporations quickly will get the idea. Savage, himself, has a huge audience which can get things started--and other talk-show hosts may be willing to jump in.

Spokesmen for Dell, Casual Male and Idea Village said their commercials aren't slotted for specific shows but told The Post they've now asked time buyers to keep their ads off Savage's program.

Pu$$ie$.

I would love to know the real agenda here. Since Savage is not particularly anti-homosexual, there's got to be some ulterior motive. I wonder if someone is paying GLAAD to do this.

GLAAD, which accuses the controversial radio talker of being anti-gay and spewing "inflammatory diatribes targeting minorities,"

It's Free Speech even if some don't like it.

You may not like that quote, but perhaps you would be kind enough to explain what it has to do with GLAAD's agenda.

"(BTW, there is no constitutional guarantee to a television show.)"

You don't get the whole concept of our Constitution yet do you? RIGHTS ARE NOT ENUMERATED in the Constitution

Certain groups have a vested interest in making sure other ideas never see the light of day. They play the race card, the hate card, the anti-Semite card, the homophobia card (like anyone is afraid of these misfits), the right wing Christian card, the anti-choice (pro death) card, and yes the liberal card all in an attempt to limit the public's exposure to other ideas.
