The "health of the mother" exception is so bogus, just about anything qualifies. I had gestational diabetes during my last pregnancy, and that was certainly a threat to my health. Does that mean I wanted to kill my baby? Of course not! I admit, there may be cases where women have more serious ailments during their pregnancies, but I would ask them to consider that there is no guarentee that pregnancy is going to be risk-free. Mothers are supposed to sacrifice themselves for their children, not their children for themselves.

Of the 183 partial birth abortions performed in 2000 in the state of Kansas, ZERO were done to save the life of the pregnant woman! ZERO. This killing method is used because it can be done in 15 minutes of serial killer attention, as oppsed to 45 minutes for other methods. The entire 'procedure' involves three days of treatment to accomplish, so it is NEVER an emergency procedure.
