Love it! Got into a hate crimes discussion with a big lib the other day. Funny the way they argue. She conceded that I was right, we wouldn't need hate crimes legislation if laws were enforced, but, but, but if someone you loved were hurt in a hate crime you'd support it anyway!

You know, the one thing I miss about college (UC Berkeley alum here, don't hold it against me) were arguments just like that. ;-)

Well, I miss a few other things, but ya can't go home again.

Nicely done, CM. You're a better man than me -- I would have argued with her until she had completely painted herself into a corner and had no graceful exit. And laughed at her. A lot. :-)

When they say Saddam has nothing to do with 9/11, remind them that OBL said he had three reasons for hating America:

1) our troops in Saudi Arabia (there because SH invaded Kuwait),

2) our embargo of Iraq (there to "contain" SH... and nowadays libs are all for "containing" him and starving Iraqi children),

3) our support for Israel while Israel won't create a Palestinian state (because of ongoing terrorism, which SH encourages with his $25,000 payment to each family of a suicide bomber.)

All three reasons lead back to Saddam.
