By "day four" I mean the political situation. You only have to look at the countries that border Iraq, and the fact that it really is something of an artifical nation. Kurds, Armenian(who have real problems with the Turks), Tukomans(close relations with the Turks), in the north. With all that lovely lovely oil in the neighborhood. Shia in the south (with their brothers the Iranians just waiting to "reunite" them. And just happens to put them on the border with Kuwait, and "our good friends" the Saudis and their Whabbi view of Islam and suppression of the shia who live there.
So you can see the real "fun" starts after saddam is out.

We'll get to it when we get to it, and I just...well, I take it you're a glass half-empty kinda guy on the postwar possibilities? Myself, I can't help but allow a LITTLE window of optimistic thinking about a possible chance to really address Big Problems directly for...the first time in...too long (excluding activities done post-9/11)...can't blame ya if you're cynical, most of the time I am too, but just not on this one, for some reason.
