Im not sure of all the details yet this RV yards has been there for years as a busniess with no problem

Do you have any evidence that the other businesses haven't held the proper conditional use permit? Is it possible that this new business has just been delinquent in getting the permit?

I still say that Collison should just get the permit quickly and this thing would go away. Plus, he has apparently got to build a wall. I presume that the purpose of the wall is so that the RVs aren't visible from the road. Many junkyards have the same restriction.

My guess is that this is a result of laziness. Collison probably didn't think that city officials would do anything about it. He thought wrong.

Whether they are pickin' on him or not, he left them a valid opening. He needs to be on the up and up and get the permit. That is how to make it go away.... not loud help from us.

If you think this is about permits I have question

Why is the city still not filing against the protesters? When Tracey try to file she told she can’t because she not the property owner

When property owner try to file he’s told he can’t because he not the memorial owner

This is with both going down there together

Fokes get real the city and the PD have a bug up the butt becaust they just got burned on the national news... do you think they might try a littly payback?

Also the three teens that trashed the memorial are from La Habra High and live in the very high rent part of town

You are missing the point. Of course we believe in his cause and this memorial. But a fight with the city to give him a pass about the permits is the wrong fight.

It doesn't matter "why now" if he doesn't have the permits.

He needs them.

Hey, I'm not big on anyone violating the law. And I certainly won't condone criminal behavior simply because I agree with someone's ideology.

Collison needs to get the proper permits. It is that simple.

Here's a hypothetical: If a president whose politics you supported lied before a grand jury, would you oppose his impeachment simply because you liked his politics?

She can still file a complaint against the protesters and then force it through to someone other than the local police and DA. She can also sue the protesters for damages and "emotional stress" and police for failure to protect a citizen's property in civil court.

NO this is not a request to try to get a pass on permits (The OC Register quotes the City Attorney as the problem being "failer to obtain city approvel to park RV's on the Lot"

Look most people know if a city want to to find soming ticky tack to mess with you they can (Make you a bet I can got to any one house on busniess ans find SOME city code violation)

And trust me I live here I've seen the other busniess on Whittier next to his ...his is nice and clean compared to most that are run down and dummpy (This is why the big debate at first that La Habra is gang/getto area alot of busniess in that area do look like that ...his does not

Bottom line the timing of the ciyt going Hard line on the code with this one owner and soft on the 911 trasher is odd
