For those of us who cannot imagine that someting like this is actually true because it's so far from our personal ethics:

A friend who worked in Teddy Kennedy's press office as a college intern (many many years ago) told me that he was absolutely not allowed to get into an elevator by himself and with only one woman. He was too prone to spontaneous sexual attack.
