Your Texas barbecue slam aside, the headline is
entirely misleading. The article is discussing Burger Kings (McDonalds comes closest to serving "barbecue" with their sauced up Chicken Nuggets and McRibb sandwich and I'm not even sure those are meat products).
There are also smokehouses in town that smoke meats for 24 hours (that is not barbecuing either).
I pin the headline on the editors/author at the Houston Chronicle, not the scientist who is looking at the small contributors to Houston's air pollution.
Eating beef is a good thing. Those cattle produce methane as they chew, we are eliminating a source of air pollution.
