Thanks for all the info.

One note on the range of exposure on an airliner: those results might not be reliable, if it is airborne, due to the recirculation of the cabin air. I don't know the current percentage of fresh air to old, but it might be that some passengers get a more direct blast from the outlets than others. Some might keep the air jets turned off the whole flight.

At present the thinking is that it requires more contact than airborne.

If no one in the aircraft becomes infected, other than those who touched or assisted the doctor, then we have one range.

If those within a row become infected then we can think sneeze
or cough.

If many of the other passangers who had no contact become infected then - the game is over....
