Jerusalem hotel changes name to George W. Bush hotel

A Jerusalem hotel has decided to honor the US president's commitment to bring an end to the regime of Saddam Hussein and has temporarily changed its name to the "George W. Bush Hotel" on Tuesday.
A statement released by the former Jerusalem Gold hotel said that in light of Bush's decision to launch the war on Iraq, they were saluting the "leader of the free world."
Hotel owner Ariel Shameda-Doron said that as far as he knows this is the first place in the world to be named after the current US president.
A large sign reading "The George W. Bush Hotel" adorned the front of the building at the entrance to the city.

Considering the fact that Leftists and other assorted cranks and wingnuts all over the planet are burning American flags and comparing our President to Hitler and the like in their BS "peace" marches, I would think any American would be pleased to see that in some quarters, President Bush is appreciated, and respected.

It takes a big helping of guts for the hotel owner to do this. Makes you want to stand with them.

This may seem silly to others...and maybe it is, or you could say it's just cute or nice of them to do that. But I think this speaks well of our President and our Country. This put a smile on my face!
