God damn, now I'm crying. This brings so much emotion back up from that day when I watched people jump from the burning WTC towers with my own eyes.

But it also makes me proud that we are not laying down dead as the cowards who did this intended. We are fighting back, and we will eradicate these cockroaches. We will make sure that out of the most horrible tragedy, we will not merely avenge these people, but we will actually use their needless deaths to actually improve our nation and the world by destroying those that would commit crimes against humanity. We shall take the worst possible sorrow and tragedy and out of the deepest blackest depths of hell, find some good. We can do this and that is what makes America great.

We are stronger and better than them.

Well, I figured that. I heard that the firefighters and police and other rescue personnel killed alone (300 or so) left over 800 children behind.

I just got home and watched closely and in its entirety. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I wish more FReepers would check it out. It seems appropriate on this eve of war to connect 9/11 to our current situation.
