Even more important - will this image ever appear on American TV? I doubt it - they are more interested in showing pictures of anti-American "protests".

This picture of US personnel giving aid to a surrendered Iraqi soldier is, IMHO, one of the best, most important pictures ever to come out of an American campaign. I believe it should be flashed to all US media outlets, asking them, no demanding, to show it. It demonstrates everything America stands for and literally brings me to choke up and tears.

I cannot get over the selflessness of our US personnel who, while they no doubt are trained to and have to kill, also have in their hearts a true consideration for life and its sanctity. May God bless them and keep them safe.

I felt the same thing!!! I can't look at that picture without feeling a lump in my throat. I am so proud to be an American right now!

I agree. Put that picture everywhere. That represents our country perfectly. We are strong, we are victors and yet we show compassion and are just.

It's no wonder our country is so blessed.

I am so proud of that soldier. To the families of the soldiers, you have raised awesome sons and daughters. You move me to tears.

You are absolutely correct. The look of compassion on the face of the soldier with the canteen needs to be seen by every 'antiwar' protestor, as well as every other American.
