Can somebody send me the link to the military vehicle page that had specifics on it? Somebody put this up on this threat a day ago.

Does Wolf work for Al-Jazerra as well? He works for the highest bidder. So does CNN as a whole.

507th maint. is a reserve unit I believe...once again...why do we send in reserves. I have never understood this.
Fine, call up the reserves, but use them here to replace deployed soldiers, don't send them to the front line....

Now Wolfie is telling Paula of the sneering lip that (paraphrased) "We don't know how many civilians have been injured and how many bombs have hit in innocent civilian areas," evidently trying to show some moral equivalence between Saddam's murderers and a bomb that might go astray.
Would someone please confirm that CNN is an American network?
To: Maigrey
PLEASE tell me the AM's removed the pictures. If I knew where they were posted I would be hitting the abuse button over and over and over.....and I don't hit the abuse button.

I'm working on the homemade chocolate candy to keep me going. I'm sick that the BBC would plaster this before the families were notified.

I bet it frustrates the media. If they keep pandering to the shrinking audience of America-haters, Americans may march to Atlanta for a completely different reason once again.

I agree. It may be because they have had no real war experience so will naively go where 'angels fear to tread'. Read Ambrose's 'D-Day' to see why they like to send in unhardened troops.

Sky News just reported - ITN believe their missing reporter is now dead.
To: oceanview
They are not going to surrender, and that's it. The war plan is going to have to change now, here we go. Some will surrender, many won't. The plan can't know in advance who will do which. The plan is not "monolithic," it is extraordinarily flexible, and no matter which path is chosen, that path can be put in action so fast it'll make you head spin. Shock 'n' Awe, especially if you have military knowledge, and THINK your opponent has only a few options. The regime of Saddam Hussein is toast.
To: justshe
FNC talking with former Iraqi POW. They are discussing the activity on Baghdad streets and restaurants which shows that they do not fear the US. They know we are humane and have a single mission.
To: justshe
I don't believe any such photos would last more than a few minutes on FR.
I have a few stills as well, and I must say, I wouldn't dream of posting them here, or even linking them.
I believe they should be seen by all, but not right at this moment.

"Fine, call up the reserves, but use them here to replace deployed soldiers, don't send them to the front line...."
They send the reserves, because there aren't enough regular Army, AF, Navy or Marines to maintain or operate all of the equipment. Our military personnel has been systematically reduced over the last 12 years. Clinton axed the budget dramatically and all of these high-tech weapons are very expensive.
