Next election looks like it will be another cake walk for the hated Liberals. The real problem I see it is this:
- The right-minded parties are split, which effectively halves the votes.
- The more likeable of the two right-parties, the Canadian Alliance, is seen almost exclusively as a 'Western' party in the key province of Ontario, and thus gets little support.
- The Progressive Conservative party, at least nationally, is in a bit of a shambles thanks to Joe Clark, IMO.
In the short-term, the only way to oust the Liberals would be a uniting of the right, which looks unlikely, so we may have another four years of limp-wristed Liberal leadership. PUKE!!!
