These photos are absolutely awesome, thank you! When did Poland start participating?

Absolutely outstanding, many thanks to you. Wish I understood these pictures better. What is that boxy wheeled thingie they're lifting with the Chinook? and are those guns Paladins? I find the whole undertaking just astonishing and overwhelming.
Can anyone point me to more info about the Polish soldiers and how they came to be involved and what they're up to?

Oh, too bad, what was it?

Thank you so much for the work you put into posting this thread!!!
[A 3 year-old] sits underneath the oak tree in front of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N.C., Friday, March 21, 2003, following a ribbon tying ceremony. [The boy's] father, Staff Sgt. [*name omitted], is deployed overseas with the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. Smittle is holding a sign that reads: "My Daddy is a Hero."

* [I don't like seeing names posted on the internet ..... especially in association with the families awaiting their heroes back home ... so I have omitted both the boy's name and his father's.]

I'm curious as to exactly what this dolphin is trained to do and what the piece of equipment on its right forefin is. I know we train them to find mines and such, which is great, but I'm curious about exactly how they do it. What do they do when they find a mine? Let us know? Anyone have details on this?

Apparently not all of them are starving.

You know, it could be argued that carpet bombing (or fire bombing, or A-bomb dropping) is the only way to win their hearts and minds.

I share your disgust with the way Iraqi's are treating our honorable solders. I keep expecting human beings to not sink below a certain level, but I'm always proven wrong.
Sorry if it's a dumb question but on the map... what's "green line" mean? Do you know?
