As long as they protest quietly, they should be allowed, but when they destroy other peoples' property or keep people from getting to their jobs, then they should pay for what they've done. They should reimburse anyone for lost work time, they should pay for anything they've broken, they should clean up their own messes.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'd take it further and argue that by purposefully and unnecessarily obstructing the normal course of affairs they are aiding and abetting, or at least providing comfort, to the enemy ... aka "treason".
