While 80% of Arabs are Muslims, 80% of Muslims are not Arabs. Yet 90% of the world's troubles with Islamic radicals occur in Arabic countries.

I think this is why when the Iranian shiites held those American hostages, they didn't slaughter them, they are a different people. Iranians and Turks had a better religion before Islam was imposed on them by the Arabs and still have those Zoroasterism influences which moderate them somewhat. Islam is an Arab religion, that's where it originates and where it is practiced in it's most pure form.

I call it a cult on another thread someone calls it a political movement. You want to call it a Peaceful religion.

It can't be all 3. Which is it? Go back in its history and it is plain to see what Islam is.

Now fast foreward to today. Islam is a clear amd present danger to the survival of America.

And we must get it right, just what Islam is. Or as I said we as a nation will not survive.

And since I say its a cult Ann says its a cult and another poster says its a political movement and you are saying its a religion, well it seems easy enough that America since our national security depends on it that we decide what it is. And in the interest of America and Americas security we decide its really a political movement or a dangerous cult then the ist amendment will not apply. Will it?

I am open for debate but we had better make some decisions soon as we have wasted almost 2 years now.

Whether you like it or not, and whether you agree or not, Islam is recognized as one of the world's 3 major religions. How can our government suddenly decide to say it isn't a religion?

We need to deal with Islam the same way we deal with Communism and Nazism. We don't outlaw those either, they also want to overthrow the US Constitution and replace our government with a totalitarian form of government. Islam is at least as much a political ideology as it is a religion.

As I posted on another thread, it is a circular logic debate.

A statement is made by a poster.

The FACTS and LOGIC re: said statement are presented to either refute or question said statment.

The person making the original statement accuses you of either 1)not recognizing the truth of the statement (for nefarious reasons because you don't acknowledge his 'gift'); or 2)being a liar (there are various labels used in place of liar).

In any debate set up by said poster.....he wins; you lose----IN HIS MIND.

I am more convinced than ever that said poster is a disruptor. His sole goal is to bring down the GOP and this administration.

Your post was excellent to this poster. HOW do you reconcile the Ist Amendment with the desires of said poster?

Some facts:

A)Religion bashing is not allowed on this forum.

B)Islam/Muslim is a recognized religion by this country. Like it or not....that's a fact.

Hence....statements that "Islam is a bloody cult" carry no weight...except in the mind of said poster, and MAY be putting him in a very dangerous zone.
