Turks, Kurds, Smurfs, who the heck cares.

Just another protest incited by probably Syria, Iran, or some such asshole who wants to put the finishing touches on the falling out between our administrations.

I wouldn't worry about a few "nest" eggs (yuck!)..

Better hope there are some nucular or bilogical weapons of mass destruction to be found, IMO. That's really the lynch pin. Just watch the rats (enemy nations) come out of their holes by the dozens, if you can't produce any..

Haven't you been paying attention??

Our enemies have already been revealing themselves. NATO is on the ropes. The UN is flatlining. The EU is split.

It is France and Germany that must hope that we find WMD's now, as that would allow their political administrations to "save face" and worm their way back into the U.S.'s good graces (with appropriate apologies, all fake, etc.).

For the U.S., we no longer care. Hussein is being taken out. Next up will be either North Korea, Syria, or Iran.

There is no more "political fallout" that the U.S. can be slammed with by the world community. They shot their wad with Iraq, and the game is about far more countries than just whipping Iraq.

What more can anyone do to the U.S. politically, after all, than what they have done and said over Iraq?!

Moreover, the nations that oppose the U.S. are growing progressively weaker. Afghanistan has fallen. There is no more Taliban. Al Qaeda hasn't had a success in a while, either.

France and Germany have no militaries to speak of, and their economies are in the crapper. China can't even rein in Taiwan, much less deal with India or the U.S.

Soon Iraq will no longer be able to oppose the U.S., either.

The Left has blown it. Their grand plan to cut America down to size has not only failed, but it has backfired so spectacularly that age-old Left-Wing power-bases are now endangered. The Communist-run PFLP in Israel/Palestine, which has sent "martyrs" to help Iraq, is now endangering Arafat's rule by turning the U.S. against the Palestinian cause. Castro is old and Cuba is broke, so there again the Left is in danger of losing yet another Socialist advocate.

The Right has seized political power in Czechoslavkia, Poland, Italy, and Spain. Almost the entire Eastern Bloc has sided with the U.S. instead of with France or Russia.

The Left can't even raise a decent anti-war movement in San Francisco, for crying out loud! They've dropped back to try to re-draft Gore for President, even though he's already dropped out of the race!

So finding WMD's doesn't even matter to the U.S. any longer, and that hasn't mattered ever since Iraq executed 5 to 7 of our POWs and then paraded the other 5 across TV. That act cost them all benefit of the doubt by all fence-sitting Americans. It hardened the resolve of our nation, so that we are no longer going to act like pansies and cry about casualties in war, or even in trying to reduce the number of nations upon which we unleash our war machine.

The game has changed. Alliances have changed. The rules have changed.

Try to keep up.
