I would like to know the numbers of people who have actually recovered from this illness... It is hard to get an acurate picture from all of the suspected and on going cases compaired to the deaths. I want the number of recovered cases to deaths.

Well, don't know the actual numbers, but I know that the two cases in Michigan weren't even admitted to the hospital.

Some specifics on this would be nice.

Keep in mind that they only cases we know about, are the people who were hit hard enough to require medical attention. We have no idea currently what percentage of the infected people just come down with a mild case of flu, and are back on their feet within a couple of days.

Within a couple of weeks, I would expect researchers to get a better idea.

Thanks for the info. They were not admitted to the hospital because they recovered or they died?

They didn't die, but I don't know about recovery. Evidently it simply wasn't severe enough to warrant hospitalization.

In Canada they're reporting Suspect and Probable cases, now. On the government website, they're not even saying the numbers of people who DO have it.

Are they sure those 2 cases in Michigan were sars?

I came across this -- regarding recovery

* Australia announced its first case - a man who had been in Singapore. He has recovered and the illness has not spread, health authorities said.

But, that's all it says...
