Now Wolf Blitzer is reporting that loudspeakers are going through more of Baghdad telling the people to go to the airport and defend the city. Wolf is saying that Republican Guards have withdrawn into the city as their last stand!

I read on a Freerepublic site recently that Sadam's bunker had only two sites out and one opened onto the Tigris River....so this could be the one...just need to locate the other....

I'm thinking they've got something like this up their sleeves too. Fox just said something that I barely caught, I think it was that the Pentagon thinks this is the point when the Iraqis will start to attack the eastern Baghdad area where the Shia'a live.

Let's hope none of this pans out. Seems ominous though.

Once we we start discovering more of these secret tunnels, it'll be only a matter of weeks (if not days) before we discover where the caches of anthrax and VX are all hidden.

Why would they want people to leave their houses near the airport and drive toward the airport which is what the Iraqi military is urging them to do.

They want lots of civilian casualties to force a public reaction to call for a cease fire?

If I remember correctly, Communist Dictator Nicolai Ceaucescu (and his smarmy wife) had many many miles of underground tunnels in Romania at the time the people rose up,held a swift trial,then moments later shot he and his wife in the head after they were found guilty.I also remember seeing his 'dead headshot' on the front of the L.A. Slimes newspaper when it happened back in 1989.
