"It was their fault". I read in a newspaper article that the Kurds, in exchange for putting our firepower at their disposal, had agreed to let us dictate when and how far they were to advance. This sounds like a case of a Peshmerga unit advancing beyond their alloted bounds and they want to make sure that it is understood that this was not by their design.
