He does not give us universal health care, which is a universal right
No, it's not . . . in fact, there is no such thing as a universal right . . . and the only way he could give that to us would be to force doctors to give their services for less than they're worth
To: Rulling Lord
Typical tinfoil nonsense. But please enlighten me, what's a "rulling lord"?

Only Congress has the power to declare war. That is, on it's face true, and when Congress passes a resolution authorizing the President to use any and all force available to him to defeat our enemies, that IS a declaration of war.
If you don't think so, please direct me to the Article of the Constitution that spells out the specific language that Congress must use to declare war.

Interesting.

Explain to him that there are people on the earth who by upbringing or nature cannot be reasoned with - that they are Sociopaths who will not let anything get in the way of their whims. That they surround themselves with like minded individuals, and exploit the average human tendency for society and some degree of conformity to extend their reach throughout society....I wonder if Billy Jeff Blythe will describe himself in his book, nearly as accurately as this poster has. A Truthful LOL

Very nicely written. It reminds us once again that the goals of the socialist are slavery, torture and murder. Any other claimed goals, ones that allegedly benefit the populace, are simply lies. Let's not forget how skilled at lying they are.

I would tell your brother-in-law that you don't deal rationally with irrational people. When the Palestinians or whoever calms down and explains their grievance in a rational manner, we will listen. Until then, we must protect our own interests as best possible.

A guy after my own heart. Yes, with the exception of a few personal rights that understandably annoy the pioneering types, the left has become the force for reaction now. It's a curious moment in history, although I think the actual flip happened when Lyndon Johnson's people started opposing a missile defense on the basis that the Russians might attack us because we would have the advantage of being able to repel a massive attack.
Further signs emerged gradually, without any specific rhythm until 9/11 scared the left into realizing that in addition to our strategic weapons development, American foreign policy could also get them killed. Imagine that, Americans could get killed for merely defending those Jewish people!
We'd need to worry if the "pioneering" types got behind a repressive or otherwise reactionary movement, but the pacifists and anarchists don't frighten me. Their insults, rocks, molotov cocktails, and grenades may hurt one or two of us patriots, our troops but they have no set of core values and will amount to nothing.

What the H* was I thinking!
So you're coming through NC, huh?
No trip through NC is complete without having some eastern NC style barbecue!
I would suggest Parker's BBQ in Wilson, if you can squeeze it in.
It's great.
